Sony PSP Vita sold 321 000 units in two days in Japan

Its great attraction is its catalog of games, which already has 24. Comes to Americaand Europe in February.}

A good first weekend was the new Sony handheld, the PSP Vita. In its first two days on the market Nippon sold over 321 000 units of the console.

The data come from Sony, but the research firm Enterbrain, while supporting thegood wishes for Vita. But even with this success, a fact worth to Sony: sold fewer units than the 3DS in the same period of time.

When the new Nintendo handheld was released in February sold 371 000 units inthe same two days. The problem, and the advantage for Sony, is that sales of the 3DS fell sharply within a few weeks, resulting in heavy losses for the company.

One reason would be the poor library of games, so Sony was prepared and when launching the new PSP already has 24 titles available.

The PSP Vita arrive in the U.S. and Europe in February and is expected to reach Chile near the same date.
